Dunwright Tackle LifeLike Lures 7" Paddle Tail Musky Bait Model: Paddle Tail 7" Color: Cisco Weight: 3.5 oz. The new Dunwright Paddle Tail is one of the easiest working baits you will ever fish. The tails are longer and larger than a typical design. They move with a very fluid motion, even at extremely slow speeds. The baitfish will sink at about 1 foot per second. Just stop reeling and it will flutter downward, making the pause an extremely affective strike trigger. They also feature a new design that locks the internal harness to the formula x soft plastic. This prevents hook sets and back-lashes from pulling the weight and harness out of the bait. The LifeLike Paddle Tail Lures come with a removable weight system. With the weight in place you can fish the bait faster and or deeper. Remove the weight to fish slower and shallow. Just take off the split ring and slide the weight on or off. What is Formula X ? We have all gotten used to the fact that soft plastic baits are easily torn. They catch fish, so we just live with it. The lifelike series is made from a patent pending material called Formula-X. This new material is many times more durable than traditional soft plastic. Formula-X will stretch to many times its original length and it is much more difficult to cut. Combine the action with the durability and these baits are an incredible value. Care and Maintenance of Formula X Baits With a little care these Formula X baits will catch more fish per bait than you ever thought possible from soft plastic. Store them away from material containing petroleum. Old style soft baits, carpet made from recycled plastic, oil spills, etc. For long-term storage, lay them flat, or better yet, hang them from the hook-on point at the nose of the bait. As with all baits, baking them on the deck of your boat for 10 days in 95 degree heat isn't going to improve them. This goes for the hard baits as well.
